Thegarlompygirl asked:
Okay so here’s the deal. I want to earn money to save up on a guitar and some clothes. I need those pretty quick, especially the guitar because I want to learn it over the summer.
I need a good, efficient, quick way to earn money within two to three weeks or so. I don’t have a credit card, or bank account, or PayPal, etc. The ‘job’ has to be something that involves receiving cash, most probably face-to-face dealing.
And here are impossibilites:
1) My parents don’t give allowance. They don’t give money when we do chores either, so chores is invalid.
2) I cannot set up something like a lemonade stand. My parents wouldn’t let me…they are very overprotective and would think I would get kidnapped …. besides, nobody in my neighborhood even goes out, they’re all on vacation right now, so I wouldn’t have any business if I set a lemonade stand up..

Well, if you can’t provide a service or sell anything, you can’t get an allowance, you’re too young to get a job… I think you’re just going to remain broke… What other opportunities would you have?
First, have you explained to your parents why it is so important for you to get a guitar. I do not know of your family’s financial situation, however, I would think that they would be thrilled that you were interested in learning to play a musical instrument. Is asking them for help on the guitar out of the question? If it is, can you send an email, im, text, anything to all of your friends and their friends to see if anyone has a guitar they are not currently using and if they would be willing to let you borrow it for a while? That way, once your parents see that your interest in learning to play the guitar is a serious one and one that you plan on sticking to, they may find a way to help you. You would be surprised how many people have musical instruments just sitting around because someone was once excited to play it and soon gave it up for something else. As a parent, I would much rather have my kids who are 12 & 13 spend their time playing the guitar then spending too much time on the computer or texting. Do you have something you could swap with someone who might be looking to sell their guitar? Have you searched places like Craig’s List or (I know you are going to hate this one) tried garage sales? Have you looked in the classifieds? I would call any and all these people and see what type of deal they are willing to cut. Maybe they would give you the guitar if you committed to a summer of cutting their grass or doing some yard work, I know I would in a minute! Now, about the clothes, are they clothes that you need or are they clothes that you really want. I know we spend way too much money at Hollister, Abercrombie, etc. Do you have clothes that you and your friends might be willing to swap? That always works around here, especially if you hang around guys that have the same taste as you. I bet if you were to get really creative and resourceful and show your parents how hard you are willing to work for these things, they may actually surprise you. Or if not, you may surprise yourself by figuring out a way to get these items, a way in which you would never had thought possible before. This would be a good opportunity for you to test your negotiating skills. Good luck, would love to hear how things turn out for you!
well you could do surveys online. Its what I do and it’s worked out pretty well. I review some survey sites to make money that have worked for me at What you have to do is complete surveys and offers for companies that want the public’s opinion. By doing this, you are able to earn money very easily for simply giving your opinion or trying out sample products. This is a great service that allows one to work from home, on their spare time, at their leisure, and still bring in a nice sum of money every month. People have made up to $1000 easily on this site by just working on it in their spare time. It is not going to replace a real job’s salary, but it is a very nice bonus. There are also many features on these web site, such as contests and special surveys, from which you can redeem extra prizes that would be sent to you with your monthly cheque, such as iPods, Xbox 360s, PSPs, digital cameras, gift certificates, and much more.
Cheques are sent monthly, and usually arrive about a week or a week and a half into the next month. No payment from you is ever required, not to sign up, not EVER. Unlike other sites that try to scam people out of their money, these sites never requires you to pay them.
“If the site doesn’t get paid from me, then why would they have this service going?” - The sites don’t get paid directly from you, but when you complete an offer or survey, they also get paid a small portion of what you earned yourself. For example, if you complete a survey about computers let’s say, you would earn maybe $2 and the web site itself would recieve $0.50 from the company also for getting you to complete the survey. These surveys take little time at all, most taking up less than even 1 or 2 minutes of your time.
Fraud is also a big deal on the Internet these days, and this site recognizes that. That is why they ask for ONLY three bits of information: Your name, email address and your home address. Yup, that is all. No credit card information, no banking information, nothing like that. All they require is your name and address so that your cheque can be sent to your home every month. Your email address is only required to confirm that you have done the offers and surveys. Fortunately, no spam mail or junk mail is ever sent out by this site and your information is never shared with any other company.
Personally I have been a member of these websites, along with thousands of other satisfied users, for approximately 1.5 years now and have earned well over $8600 by working in my spare time. This web site has been great to me, also the members and administrator are very friendly, and are always there to help you with a question or problem you may be having. So far, I’ve listed only positives about this site, because I can’t think of a single negative thing about it. Earn money in your spare time, at no cost to you…Easy as that! I give you my word that they pay.
